Ewshot Village Hall

Ewshot Village Hall is a traditional village hall, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is the ideal venue for regular and one-off activities and classes, parties including children’s parties, fund raising events, shows, meetings, and functions and celebrations of all kinds. The main hall has a wooden floor together with a small stage, lighting and a sound system. This is used for a mixture of activities including regular dance/yoga/pilates/fitness classes, toddler group, band practice, dog training etc, in addition to occasional am-dram productions, children’s and adults parties. There is also a smaller room which is ideal for small group activities/craft clubs and meetings etc.

There are facilities for disabled people inside the hall. In addition, Ewshot Village Hall’s recent Access For All project, has resulted in the hall being much more accessible for the frailer members of our community, wheelchair users and those with prams and pushchairs. An added benefit is that it is now also much easier for users of the hall with large items to carry, for example when running workshops or holding parties, to take equipment, etc into the hall. The Village Hall Committee would like to thank the UK Government for providing the funding for this project through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The village hall is managed by an independent registered charity.

The main hall can hold up to 100 people, with 60-70 seated comfortably around tables – increasing to around 80-85 if the stage is used. For fire safety reasons, the maximum number of people permitted in the entire building at any one time is 150. The hall, which provides an excellent venue for both private and community events, is available for hire.
